Where photography & healthcare collide
I photograph healthcare from inside it. Working as an NHS doctor is what lets me read a ward, a resus bay or a GP surgery, know where to stand, and know when to put the camera down.
I am not a certified medical photographer. What I bring instead is fluency in the protocols, the consent and the etiquette of a clinical space, so the photographs are honest about the work without intruding on it.
