Humans of the Pandemic
Portraits and thoughts from 67 staff at NHS George Eliot Hospital during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Cleaners, porters, nurses, doctors, mortuary and bereavement staff, photographed in their own places of work on adapted and protected camera equipment, alongside what each of them said at the time.
Twenty of the photographs, featuring fifteen of the staff, were later framed and hung in the hospital as part of its Staff Appreciation Week.
